Lucien, a Venatari warrior, blind by choice, and Verity, the Altera of the Second Trine, must work together to bring their underground kingdom out of darkness and back to the light. Shadows loom; Solaria is on the brink of famine, the Orii and the Council deceive the people. The Venatari and their allies must go back to the long-forgotten surface before it's too late.
In a race against time, they must take a step of faith and rely on each other to find the way.
